Shapeshifting Music by Martin Ball

I’ve been composing and recording original music since I was 15. I go by “shapeshifting music” as I like to explore multiple genres, styles, sounds, instruments, textures, and more. If I could sum it all up, I guess I make electronic/acoustic alternative world fusion. I’m also very fond of creating actual ALBUMS that are intended to be listened to from beginning to end, to take the listener on a journey. For those who like playlists, I’ve got a number of collections of my music available on Spotify. New music is always uploaded to my Bandcamp page before going out to broader digital distribution to all the main streaming outlets. Albums are presented here from most recent to oldest, running left to right and down the page. These Bandcamp players let you play music directly here and I have my albums set to free streaming for your listening enjoyment.

Below the individual albums, you’ll find my Spotify playlists featuring my music, curated for different themes and uses, such as my extended-session 5-MeO-DMT playlist and my Psychedelic Session playlist.

And near the bottom of this page, you’ll find a small selection of my music videos with some trippy visuals using my art and photography. More videos are available at The Entheogenic Evolution on YouTube.

My instruments: synths and MIDI instruments, percussion, 12 and 6 string guitars (played in several different tunings), mandolin, various flutes, didjeridu, harmonica, throat and overtone singing, bird sounds, and also recordings I’ve made of sounds while out in nature.

Spotify Playlists! Here are some of my curated music collections on Spotify. Fans tell me that my music goes well with their entheogenic experiences, and I invite you to give them a spin to try out for yourself.
